Dypsis Madagascariensis Seeds
Dypsis seeds are easy to grow. They just need 1-3 month and a hot and wet soild.
Soak the seeds for 48 hours in warm water.
The ideal substrate is a mixture of sand and black peat in equal parts.
Mix and water it well. Drain the mixture, pressing to expel all the water.
The soil has to be wet but no waterlogged.
Fill with the soil the container chosen to sow the seeds.
Put the seeds on the substrate, leaving two cm between them.
Cover with a thick layer of soil around 3 cm.
The seeds may take 1-3 months to germinate under perfect conditions.
For all that time we have to keep constant moisture and temperature.
In order to improve germination, the temperature should be around 25-30ºC.
